MACADAMIA PESTO
This recipe is a great twist on an original pesto recipe!!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 large clove garlic
- ½ cup chopped macadamia nuts
- 1 cup basil leaves (packed)
- 1 cup flat leaf parsley (packed)
- ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil
- ⅓ cup shredded parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon good quality salt
METHOD
Simply place all ingredients into a food processor or high-quality blender and process until smooth (or desired texture), scraping down the sides as needed. Taste, and season with additional salt if desired, else serve immediately with your favorite dish or as a side on a platter. Enjoy!!
